United Fray is seeking a full-time Marketing & Communications Manager who wants to be part of a dynamic growing company that helps Make Fun Possible through sports, events, fitness, travel, and media.

We are in the midst of launching a new brand name and rolling out an exciting new market position. We are looking for someone to manage our marketing initiatives in an effort to advance our mission! ABOUT THE ROLE:
Acting as a bit of an internal agency you’ll develop and execute innovative marketing strategies to promote our social sports leagues, events and other lines of business for our DC market and expansion cities. You’ll lead and help us growing our creative team to coordinate traditional, digital, and social advertising campaigns and help with strategic communication items.
Know how to execute marketing initiatives – From traditional PR to guerrilla street tactics, you have a knack for bringing marketing ideas to life. You know how to glean insights from analytics to identify which campaigns are having the greatest impact. You’ll manage and measure the effectiveness of our owned, earned and paid media campaigns, from start to finish, including print, digital, social and experiential. You have a deep understanding of how to effectively reach customers at every touch point, whether it’s online, on the field, or at a bar, starting in D.C. and eventually across multiple cities.
Be able to organize complex projects – You’ll handle multiple and shifting priorities with ease. You’ll create and manage our media timelines, budgets and plans, as well as our editorial calendars. You’ll be able to track the ROI of our marketing efforts and make real-time adjustments to optimize, as needed. In areas where you are not experienced, you are able to learn and adapt quickly.
Be a leader – Since this is a new role, you’ll be responsible for carving out new systems and processes to manage a small team with hybrid roles. You have an entrepreneurial streak with a can-do attitude. You strive to contribute to a results-focused company culture. You’re as much of a "doer” as you are a planner.
Work smart, play often – You love working flexible hours with lean, scrappy teams and enjoy doing a little bit of everything in a fast-paced environment. You’re highly self-motivated, outgoing and collaborative, especially under pressure. You treat your coworkers like your friends and know how to have fun both in and out of the office.
