United Fray is seeking a full-time Brand & Graphic Designer who wants to be part of a dynamic growing company that helps Make Fun Possible through sports, events, fitness, travel, and media.
We’re on a mission to never stop playing. As an Inc. 5000 company we’re growing rapidly and have evolved from a social sports company to a full lifestyle community. We have just launched a new brand name and rolling out an exciting new market position. We are looking for someone to manage visual identity, graphic design and brand needs! This is a creative position with a direct impact in the look and feel of our company. Yes, graphic design is a big product and the focus of this role, but the right person will understand how brand is so much more than just a logo or a design.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The right person has a strong background in web and graphic design, with a passion for understanding and reinforcing people’s relationships to brands. You understand the role design plays in influencing brand perception and human behavior.
Bring our brand to life – You’ll be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our visual identity and brand system through every customer touch point, whether it’s online, on the field, or at a bar, starting in D.C. and eventually across multiple cities.
Be a killer visual designer – From ideation to production, you’ll be involved in the look-and-feel of almost every part of our marketing efforts. You have a deep understanding of typography, color, layout, and imagery and you know how to bring these elements together to express our brand’s personality, tone, voice, and values, based on our branding guidelines.
Love making stuff – You’ll produce and manage visual assets for all print and digital collateral, including posters, flyers, brochures and company swag, plus content for our website, blog, social media channels, banner ads, and email newsletters.
Balance creativity with strategy -- You’ll work closely with our Brand Marketing & Communications Manager, in collaboration with cross-functional teams, to ensure that we’re strategically delivering the right messages to the right audiences on the right channels at the right time.
Work hard, play often – You love working flexible hours with lean, scrappy teams and enjoy doing a little bit of everything in a fast-paced environment. You’re highly self-motivated, outgoing and collaborative, especially under pressure. You treat your coworkers like your friends and don't mind the dogs in the office.
